Your Gift, Fully at Work
When you give to Oceans of Gratitude, your donation doesn't disappear into overhead. It becomes a nurse's plane ticket to Kiribati. It becomes antibiotics for a child fighting infection. It becomes a potentially life saving health screening for a child who's never had one. It becomes a protection for these amazing, but vulnerable people.
We built Oceans of Gratitude on a simple promise: every dollar donated goes directly toward the mission — procuring medical supplies and equipment, funding health professional travel to the islands, and running the programs that deliver care where it's needed most. No layers of bureaucracy. No funds lost to unnecessary overhead. Just direct, efficient support for the communities we serve.
Why This Matters to Us
We know that trust is earned, not assumed. Just as it took us years of building trust and relationships by keeping our promises to our partner communities in Kiribati. As the first-ever I-Kiribati/US joint nonprofit, we've built our organization around accountability from day one — working hand-in-hand with local leaders to ensure resources go exactly where they're needed, guided by the people who understand these communities best. We believe donors deserve to know their generosity creates real, measurable impact — not just good intentions.
Where Your Donation Goes
Medical Supplies & Equipment — Essential tools and medications for primary care clinics, preventative screenings, and health education on Kiritimati and Fanning Island
Health Professional Travel — Getting doctors, nurses, and volunteers to some of the most remote islands on Earth
Direct Programming — Clinics, health workshops, and educational initiatives shaped and led by local communities
